Introduce Yourself
Ok. Today's post is an idea straight out of a pages of Jim Boykin's and Stuntdubl's Blog in which I'm asking you, my readers, to introduce yourselves, and tell me a little bit about you, your company, and how you found my Blog... or anything else you're willing to share.
After reviewing my website and FeedBurner stats, I can see that more and more people are finding and subscribing to the Klog than I was actually aware of. Because of this, and because I have no idea who you all are (the increase in traffic maybe even contributed to scrapers or bots) I figure that this will be a great way for me to find out.
For me personally, I enjoy getting to know my readers as well as meeting the many people involved in the Search Marketing and Website Design field. So regardless if you're a veteran reader of the Klog, or finding my Blog for the first time, please drop me a line. As of now, I've added a link (to this post) to my Blog's main navigation over on the right... which will make it easier for future readers / visitors to participate.
You do not need a Blogger account to participate.
With that said, please introduce yourself!

Jessica Guadiana from the cubicle next to yours. Pretty much reading the klog was forced on me - you know, a read or solve your css problems on your own situation... Not really, as I remember, you didn't tell me about this until I think after my first SES show. Anyway, you've put up some great posts that I reference back to often - excellent work.

Joe Balestrino aka Mr SEO. There is a whole post here about me, so I'll spare you the long intro. I found this blog by doing my research. My job is to be connected to people and resources that will help me stay informed. That is part of what I do and that's why I read it.

Taylor Pratt here from Pittsburgh, PA. I found your blog through a little research, and through some mentions from Mr. SEO, Joe Balestrino. I read your Klog as a tool to stay up to date with e-marketing and business practices in general.

Jackie Garifo: girlfriend, part-time editor, cupcake maker, etc. I am one of many, that ideas are bounced off of, I get the inside scoop on a field I knew nothing about and now know somewhat about. I don't 'need' or am required to read the klog. However, I do so out of moral support and mild interest. Keep it coming kid!

Happy Linking Bro!

Drew Solorio here from beautiful DePue, Illinois. I'm a graphic designer and Counter-Strike fiend. Reading the Klog became very interesting when I realized I could write just about anything and Karl would still post it for everyone to see. I know at least Karl enjoys my verbal abuse of Yahoo! and Google. Karl's probably my best friend, so it's good to see that his peers in the SEO world enjoy and appreciate the Klog. Keep up the good work bro!

I can't remember exactly when I subscribed to the Klog, but it was in the early days. It's exciting to know someone else who is also very dedicated and passionate about their career! Keep up with great work Karl!! :)

Robin Kay Levine, owner of Eco-Me, a company specializing in 100% natural kits for home, body and pets. My website is: www.eco-me.com.
I am pretty new to online stuff, my webstore is great and fairly simple and your suggestions on your blog have helped in lots of ways. Most of the time I am too busy to even think, but I need to remember to sit back and learn and absorb new ideas in order to grow my business. I recently learned that press is by far the biggest leg up on business. I find it fairly easy to get people to stop by, but to buy is a different beast.
Thanks!

Karl,
Thanks for all the help with optimizing our site. After your help, within 48 hours we jumped from number 109 to number 70 on a particular key work that we were interested in on the Yahoo search engine. For us that was great encouragement.
In your blog, the links you provide to other informational sites have proven VERY useful. Also, your commentary doesn't feel "canned" and I like your direct approach.
Thanks for all of your help.

Barb Wilcox, Baraboo WI. In 1995 I began using a PC at my day job and learned a DOS accounting program. (oh boy!) In 2003 I started exploring the internet on the home computer I had purchased primarily for my teenage son. I understood nothing and couldn't get anything to happen. I'd ask my son for help and in his frustration he would simply say, "just point and click, MOM!" I don't remember just how long it took before things started to make sense and I was off and running, but in 2005 when I decided to build a web site I was clearly venturing, yet another step, into the unknown.
I chose the Yahoo! Store platform and started building. When most of the products had been posted and descriptions had been written, I knew I needed help with SEO and PPC. I found my way to Karl because All Web Promotions came up first on a list of Yahoo! Store Developers.
Karl, Michelle and Kelly have all been wonderful to work with and given my store many much needed boosts. It isn't ALL Web's job to teach, but I have learned a few things and I continue to read the "Klog" in an effort to learn more. Karl's blogs, publication recommendations and web tool discoveries are great and I have really enjoyed watching the "Klog" grow.
Keep it coming, Karl!

Diana Puchalski from Aurora, IL here. I am a Project Manager for a small marketing company and I also own and operate two online businesses. www.bella-cosa.com and www.cherishedrecollections.biz.
Basically Karl is my Yoda (lol). He is always willing to help me out when I have a question or have run into problems when I am re-vamping one of my sites. I try to return the favors when I can.
Keep up the great work Karl! When I finish my directories you will be on them. I won't rest until my jewelry site makes the top 10!!!

Alan Shupp from one cubicle from you ... or maybe it's really two because there are two people in the cubicle so if you count seats ... So I was born and then I did stuff. Now as for Karl, like many disciplines SEO is a combination of craft and art, and Karl has it down. I appreciate his work.
