In most workplaces, when a vital member of the team is out sick or out of the office for multiple days at a time - say, to get married - everyone else in the office will usually pull together and pick up the left-over slack. Let's face it, work is work and it still needs to get done regardless if the appropriate person is in the office to do it. It is these times, when co-workers begin to truly appreciate one another, and respect each other's role within their team.
All Web Promotion is NOT like most workplaces.
When members of our team are out of the office for whatever reason, we take it upon ourselves to pull together and collaborate on ways in which we can "burn" the poor sap for missing work. I must admit, I've participated in these "burns" several times, but never have I been the subject of a "burn". Well my friends, that all changed on Tuesday.
After taking a nice, relaxing 5-day weekend so that my new wife and I could get married and spend some time with each other, I found myself having to return to this mess:

Priceless!

In honor of bossman's birthday last Friday, and because he had the nerve to skip-out on work for a "client meeting", team All Web and I decided that we would have a little fun on his behalf... I mean what the hell, when the cat is away the mice will play... right?
To commemorate his fifty-something birthday (I'm so fired) we put together a top 5 list titled "5 Wacky Ways to Use Tin Foil" and taped it to his door. The list reads:
5.) Make a stealth Ninja Sword to ward off villains.
4.) Build your own Space Suit in case of emergencies.
3.) Don't forget your Tin Foil helmet to protect your brain from potential Aliens and what not.
2.) Not sure what to fill that hole with? Foil it, buddy.
1.) Encase you Boss's desk in Tin Foil for his Birthday and hope you still have a job on Tuesday.
And would you guess that we did? You better believe it!

If I know Michael as well I think I do... everyone involved in this prank, even yours truly, is going to be watching over their shoulder every minute of every day this week. Retaliation isn't a question... it's a certainty, and Michael doesn't just get even... he gets ahead!
Happy Birthday Michael. Let the games begin.

In addition to today's SES update, I have a special treat for you guys... one that requires its own post.
While at the Google Dance tonight, Michael, Jessica, and I (team All Web) took part in this really cool Bobbing head-to-music thing and so I thought I'd share. This is of course really embarrassing and at the same time pretty funny.
Here's the video:
If this by chance doesn't work, please use this link to download the video: http://www.youtube.com/v/aM9wjqYHG6Y
What do you think? Cool or un-cool? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
